Captain Chris has been fishing the Merrimac for over 20 years & has kept a boat in the same slip for the past 11 years. He grew up fishing along the beaches & in the rips of Nantucket, but his adult life has been spent plying the waters of Massachusetts’ North shore. An avid fly fisherman & light tackle specialist, his favorite times on the water include running & gunning for Tuna or working the shallows with a fly-rod.
Your captain has fished extensively as far North as Boothbay Harbor Maine, all around the Florida coast, and into Mexico targeting the biggest fish available on light tackle. With a desire to become the consummate angler, he continually looks for the next idea, edge or trick to land the best catch each time he is on the water.
A father of two, and married for 14 years, your dependable Captain is dutifully aware and maintains a positive blend of safety, fun & determination. Everyday on the water is a great day ~ from 9 inch Mackerel to 600 pound Tuna.
